And with that, I am welcoming myself to the machine as well as welcoming the machine to me.
Yes, that's my new work computer, the 1.8GHz iMac G5. It's not the new dual-processor Intel machine that was just announced, but it's oodles faster and roomier than the iMac G4 I've been tooling around on for three years. I'll be enjoying it in my new office, on top of my new desk, next to my new bookshelf, my new credenza, and my new two-drawer lateral file. Awww, yeah. Four years at this job and I finally got me an office. Sweet.
Damn, I've been at mine for nearly 7 years now and I don't even have a window cubicle.
Way to be behind the times, son.
And don't play with PhotoBooth *too* much. =)
